Health & Safety Program

OSHA has designated the construction industry as a ‘high hazard’ risk industry. Subsequently, employers like J.A. Rosa Construction must implement and maintain a written Safety Program, a copy of which must be maintained at each workplace or at a central worksite if the employer has non-fixed worksites.

This program herein establishes minimum safety procedures and practices for J.A. Rosa Construction personnel and is developed in accordance with 29CFR1926 and 29CFR1910.1200. The manual consists of several safety modules or chapters that address specific topics most frequently faced by our employees. Each module is a standalone manual and covers tasks J.A. Rosa Construction employees might encounter on the job site. Each module can be replicated and incorporated into a job-specific safety plan as needed. Each module consists of 2-8 individually numbered pages and is organized in order of general use. Sections are numbered, but the numbering sequence may not be consecutive. Refer to the Table of Contents for names and numbers of sections included in this safety manual.
